Linda Powell, lifelong artist, paints in classic traditions and enjoys expanding into non-traditional realms.  Her artwork hangs internationally and is appreciated in the Eastern Central United States, where she makes her home.  Dedicated to traditional themes of light and form, she brings a classic touch to her canvases.  Unlimited by subject matter, she paints animals, landscapes and portraits, each with the same delicacy, drama and passion.

A new area of interest for Linda's work is her popular "paper follies," featuring abstract watercolor paper that forms the basis of her whimsical characters, each with a story.
